Questions

How strong is the computer?

When you start a new game, you choose how long the computer thinks for each move: 2, 5, 10 or 15 seconds. The longer it thinks, the stronger it plays.

Where are my games saved?

On iPhone and iPad, BChess saves your games automatically and lists them under Games. They are stored in the app’s folder on your device, which you can also browse in the Files app. On the Mac, each game is a document that you save wherever you like, like any other file. Games are saved as .bchess files, and you can share a game as standard PGN.

Does BChess need an internet connection?

No. BChess makes no network requests: the engine runs on your device.
